Vince Stevens was born and raised in the north-metro area of Minneapolis. He is a 1999 cum laude graduate of Carleton College, where he studied political science and political economy. Mr. Stevens is also a 2002 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where he graduated with cum laude honors and on the Dean's List. He was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in May of 2003 and previously practiced at Minneapolis law firms Moss & Barnett P.A. and Gislason & Hunter L.P. before joining with Tom Miller.
Mr. Stevens practices in all areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis in commercial litigation, both in state and federal court. He has successfully prosecuted and defended civil claims at all phases of litigation, including numerous trials. Mr. Stevens makes frequent court appearances and has successfully handled motions, mediations, arbitrations, and has appeared before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He was recognized by his peers as a Minnesota Law & Politics Rising Star Attorney in 2007 and 2009.
Mr. Stevens represents a wide range of clients in a variety of businesses, including small to large corporations and also individuals. In addition to complex business litigation, Mr. Stevens handles cases in the areas of family law, criminal law and personal injury. He has negotiated many lucrative settlements for clients, but he is not averse to engaging in litigation and taking cases to trial.
Outside of law, Vince enjoys participating in sports, Minnesota’s great outdoors, local politics and community-oriented activities. He was a candidate for the Minnesota Senate in Anoka County in 2000 at the age of 23 and a White House intern in 1997. Vince is very fortunate for his exceptional wife, Amber, and their baby boy, Hudson, born in May 2011.
