Vince Stevens settled five inverse condemnation claims against the County for a total of $410,000.  The County's lake-lowering project from 1987 flooded numerous properties for over a period of 20 years.  The residents lost portions of their land and its value.

Litigation lasted over three years, with one case going up to the Court of Appeals.  The residents were compensated for their loss in property value in an effort to make them whole again.
